Powering Communities

Community & Partnership

At YES Energy, we believe renewable energy must not only power the market - it needs to power communities. Every project we develop is built on a foundation of respect, transparency and shared long-term benefit. We recognise that our work takes place in real places, in real communities, and our commitment is to listen openly, act responsibly and diligently deliver projects that help Australia on it pathway to net zero emissions.

This page is designed as a central point for residents, landholders, neighbours and interested stakeholders to learn more about our projects, our standards and the values that guide the way we operate.

Our Commitment to Safety & Wellbeing

Safety is not negotiable. We maintain a zero-harm mindset in every task and decision, supported by Work Health & Safety frameworks aligned to ISO45001 and applied across development, construction, operation and maintenance.

Our teams operate in accordance with best industry best practice, equipment is maintained to standard, and risk is managed proactively.

We also recognise our responsibility to community safety, implementing traffic & site-access controls, bushfire protection measures and emergency response planning.

Quality in Delivery & Operations

Reliable infrastructure requires reliable workmanship.

From initial concept, to engineering design to handover for ongoing O&M, we apply a continuous-improvement approach built on evidence, data and accountability.

Quality for us means infrastructure that performs for decades - compliant, efficient and optimised for long-term environmental and economic return.

We procure responsibly, partner with proven suppliers, and document each step so stakeholders have confidence in the assets we build.

Environmental Responsibility & Stewardship

Our Environmental Policy guides our approach to biodiversity protection, soil and vegetation management, waste minimisation, water conservation and responsible end-of-life recycling.

We work closely with landholders and regulators to avoid and mitigate impacts, rehabilitate disturbed areas, and ensure renewable development benefits the environment.

Integrity, Respect & Conduct

Our relationships are based on fairness, honesty, courtesy and professionalism, and the communities we work within deserve our respect.

Our Code of Conduct applies to all employees and contractors, setting clear expectations around behaviour, engagement, cultural sensitivity, confidentiality and ethical decision-making.

We don’t tolerate harassment, discrimination or misconduct - safety and respect are the standard.

Community Engagement Statement

YES Energy commits to open dialogue, transparent project information and inclusive decision-making wherever practical.

We consult with landowners and adjoining neighbours, provide project updates via our website, and provide clear channels for feedback or concerns.

We welcome questions, site discussions and community viewpoints - even when they challenge us - because collaboration builds better outcomes.
